71, of Grover Hill, died at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.
She was born September 28, 1937, in Haviland, the daughter of the late Gus and Blanche (McCain) Vance.
Miss Vance had been employed by Lakeview Farms in Delphos and Uncle Fudd's Restaurant in Melrose.
Survivors include a brother, Herbert Vance of Coldwater, Mich.; three sisters, Mary Vance of Grover Hill, Elva Lenhart of Melrose and Janice Vance of Coldwater, Mich.; and one niece, Barbara Sweitzer.
A brother, Lester McCain, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, October 10, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Alan R. Newsome officiating. Burial will be in Blue Creek Cemetery in Haviland.
The family will receive visitors from 2-6 p.m. Thursday, October 9, at the funeral home.
