73, of Van Wert, died at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, November 23, 2006, at his residence.
He was born July 3, 1933, in Livingston, Tenn., the son of the late Walter and Bertie (Vinson) Lacy. He married Carol (Rauch) Lacy, who survives at the residence.
Mr. Lacy was employed by Marquardt Construction in Monroeville, Ind., for 20 years and Van Wert County Hospital for 18 years. He was a member of the Convoy Coon Hunters.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters, Marsha K. Lacy of Van Wert and Cindy L. Daily of Orange, Texas; three sons, Gregory A. (Terri) Lacy of Convoy, Trent D. (Pam) Lacy of Elida and Todd C. Lacy of Van Wert; three sisters, Marie Hardin and Bernice (Cecile) Johnson, both of Frankfort, Ky., and Joyce Coombs of Owenton, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A son, Randy Lee Lacy; one sister, Lillian Walker; and four brothers, Leamon Lacy, Roylin Lacy, Jesse Lacy and Alferd Lacy, also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 28, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Rev. Mike Harper officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.
Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Monday, November 27, at the funeral home.
