56, of Willshire, died at 12:24 a.m. Friday, May 28, 2010, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born February 12, 1954, in Russell's Point, the son of the late Edward and Margaret (Crawford) Coppler. On June 15, 1982, he married Cheryl (Wolfe) Coppler, who survives in Willshire.
Mr. Coppler retired as a welder at Haulette Manufacturing in Celina. He was also a member of the Willshire Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include six children, Chris E. Coppler Jr., Lisa K. (Gene) Conners, Lori A. (Matt) Billman, Alicia M. Coppler, John E. Coppler and Christopher T. Coppler; an aunt, Cindy Crawford; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Tim Burden officiating. Burial will be in Willshire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, at the funeral home.
