age 44, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, died Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at his residence.
He was born December 21, 1961, in Van Wert, Ohio, the son of James R. (Ann) Benfield, who survive in Delphos, Ohio and Delores (Weck) (Don) Hanna, who survive in Lebanon, Ohio.
Survivors include two sisters, Cindi (Jay) Newcomb of Brownstown, MI., Renee (Rory) Tarp of Waterford, MI., two step-brothers, Ken (Kristine) Keirns of Tampa, FL., Troy Hanna of Austin TX., two step-sisters, Jane Keirns of Delphos, OH., Stacy (David) Beck Family of Zanesville, OH., one niece, Beth Newcomb, five nephews, Erick Newcomb, Jacob Newcomb, Jay Newcomb, Jordan Keirns, and Trevin Keirns.
Private Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 01, 2006 at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Brian Beckett officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert. There will be no visitation hours.
