Betty Jean Brooks, 64, of Van Wert died Sunday, February 17, 2013, at 5:44 p.m. at Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born April 28, 1948, in Boonesville, KY, the daughter of the late Gay and Thelma (Spencer) Terry.
Betty was a member of The Pentecostal Way Church of Van Wert, Ohio.
She is survived by 4 children, Bobby Mason of North Baltimore, OH, Stoney Mason, Angela (Michael) Marshall and Tonia (Dennis, Jr.) Figley, all of Van Wert, OH; 3 sisters, Joyce Gessel of Lancaster, KY, Alice Cobb of Lima, OH, and Becky Terry of Van Wert, OH; 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by Bertie Timmons, Gaylena Metz and Ronald Terry.
Memorial Services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at the Pentecostal Way Church with the Rev. Bill Watson officiating.
