Anne M. Barnhart, age 79 of Van Wert, passed away at 2:07 PM Monday, November 23, 2015 at Van Wert County Hospital. She was born May 28, 1936 in Hopedale, Ohio a daughter of Elmer and Doris Graham both of whom are deceased. On August 11, 1956 she married James M. Barnhart who died on February 27, 2009.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol (Gary) Sutton of Van Wert, a son, Jim (Lynette) Barnhart of Middle Point, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Nedra and Donna and a brother Roger.
She was preceded in death by a son, Steve, 3 sisters, Margaret, Margie, Virgina and 2 brothers, Paul and Jerry.
She was a retired employee of North American Phillips.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxilary and Women of the Moose Van Wert Chapter. She was an avid bingo player..
The family will receive visitors from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Brickner Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM. Burial in Woodland Cemetery will follow the service.
Preferred memorials are to Van Wert Manor Activity Fund.
