She was born July 31, 1921, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Gale Hullinger and Helen B. (Stephenson) Essex. She first married Robert West, then Arthur Krick and then Clifford Thompson.
Mrs. Krick spent most of her life working in retail sales and service and retired from the Van Wert Area Visiting Nurses Association.
Survivors include two sons, Jon West of Van Wert and Russell (Cathy) Krick of Convoy; three grandchildren, Aimee (Duane) Shears of Edwardsburg, Mich., Alicia (Andrew) Perrott of Noblesville, Ind., and Jamie Krick of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and four great-grandchildren, Shayla and Zachary Shears of Edwardsburg, Mich.; and Hayden and Hudson Perrott of Noblesville, Ind.
A granddaughter, Kelli McGinnis, also preceded her in death.
There will be no funeral services and no visitation.
