She was born November 05, 1929, in Delphos, Ohio, the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Hoffman) Martin. She married Clarence J. Young November 09, 1957, he preceded her in death in August 1989.
Mrs. Young had been employed by Bordens Van Wert Cheese Company for a number of years. She was a member of St. Marys of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert, Women of the Moose, and Benevolent Protective Order of Elks.
Survivors include 3 sons, Nicholas G. Young of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jerome A. Young of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Randolph L. (Melanie) Young of Van Wert, Ohio, Grandchildren, R. Tyler Young, Aric Young, and Darcy Young, 6 sisters, Eleanora Grothouse, Irene Kill, Catherine Miller, Marie Etzkorn, Leona (Bill) Adams, and Helen Cross.
She was preceded in death by, an infant son, Timothy Young, 1 brother, Albert Martin, two sisters, Viola Studenka, and Frances Kroeger.
Services will be Friday, June 22, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Obinwa officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert Ohio.
Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Thursday June 21, 2007 from 2-4 & 6-8, and 9am Friday till the time of service.
