76, of Marion, Indiana, and formerly of Van Wert, Ohio died at 3:15 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2006, at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System in Marion, Indiana. He was born September 08, 1929, in Van Wert County, the son of the late Orville L. and Edith A.(McDowell) Stephenson.
Mr. Stephenson was a Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by one son, John Stephenson of Indiana, one sister, Pauline "Polly Hunter of Van Wert, Ohio and several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Clark Stephenson and one sister, Dorothy Young.
Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by the Combined Honors Unit of the American Legion Post 178 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5802 at 2:oo p.m., Tuesday, August 15, 1006 at the Convoy IOOF Cemetery.
Visitation is from 1-1:45 p.m. at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 15, 2006.
